DOG DAYCARE
Dogs are social animals. They run in packs. But in our day many of our dogs spend an unhealthy amount of time alone. Misbehavior, weight gain, and poor mental health can be the consequences. Whether you need support while you work or you just want your dog to enjoy a day with friends, our facility is set up perfectly for dog daycare. Read more about the benefits of Dog Daycare.

Required Vaccinations
We require up-to-date shot records for every dog that stays at Riverview Kennels. Vaccines must be administered at least one week prior to a dog’s stay. Written proof of vaccination is required for DHLPP, Bordetella (Canine Cough), & Rabies.
-
Amazing Facilities
Daycare dogs enjoy many of the same amenities as our boarding dogs. This includes temperature-controlled buildings, spacious kennel runs, large grassy yards, comfortable bedding, and a clean, healthy environment.
-
Safe Socialization
If a dog doesn’t learn healthy socialization they tend to digress toward fear or aggression. Whether you have a puppy that needs to learn at an early age or you have a mature dog that needs supplemental support, dog daycare is an important part of a healthy dog’s weekly routine.
-
Plenty of Exercise
Without the proper amount of exercise for each breed, misbehavior and poor health can be the consequences. Regular daycare encounters can provide the right amount of physical activity for a dog’s mind and body. There’s nothing better than watching your pooch properly worn out from a fun day of daycare.
-
Protect Your Home
When a dog is left at home alone (or with his pet siblings), lack of interaction can often lead to boredom— and mischief. Put an end to shredded blinds, ‘accidents’, and even mopiness or sadness. Daycare can provide the right kind of supervision to protect your space.
-
Put an End to Separation Anxiety
We all love the joy-filled greetings we receive from our dogs, but there is nothing better for your dog than to develop healthy expectations when separated. Daycare provides an exciting, positive space for your dog so that separation is positively rewarded all the way around. You will still get the excited greetings you are used to, but you will also have lots of tail wagging as your dog recognizes our driveway.
-
Positive Routines
Dogs love predictability. When you schedule regular, weekly daycare times for your pet they benefit from the routine. The positive results from the routine also include regular feeding times, expected playtimes and regular interaction with our staff.

Add-On Activities
The same add-on activities that are available for our boarding pets are also available to our daycare dogs. For a small fee your daycare dog can enjoy leashed forest walks, fetch, frisbee, one-on-one time, lick mats, stuffed Kongs, cuddles, and IQ games.
